Like Pam and Nicky Lintott of The Quilt Room, and Mandy Shaw of Dandelion Designs. I'm seething with envy! At least they are blogging about it here, so we can enjoy the show through their eyes.
Nicky is going to pick up one of the latest Moda jelly rolls for our…

... they are LOVELY!
I don't know why I keep forgetting about In the Beginning. Every so often I have a 'gasp' moment as I remember they exist, and I rush over to their website to have a look at their latest offerings. You ought to know that I have no connection with the company. I really really don't.
I think I've fallen in love with Jason Yenter. Here's an example of his Christmas fabric (out…

... loads of quilts.
Here's my oh-so-unlikely-to-get-completed wish list of quilts I'd like to make in the coming year. Some of them are definites, others are much more wishful thinking!
1. JRQ Block Swap quilt - a definite. Here's my scrappy sketch of my block.…

I've been waiting for this fabric range to make it into the shops here for aaaaaages.

Dandan said… Thanks Jane, I haven't got my fabric yet- there are just so many pretty ones to choose from I enjoy looking at them like sweets in a shop, plus as it's going to be a 1st attempt theres a bit of trepidation and I dont want to get some beautiful jelly roll and make it into a hodge podge that doesnt work, though I know it's all about trying and experimenting. I'll have to put some coffee on and get some pluck :)
I only found this site shortly before I had to go out, so I'm really looking forward to having a good browse and finding out more about the art of quilting and what people have done, it all looks fab :)
pammie said… hello jane, thank you so much for your help, i really appreciate it...look forward to the templates for Pauline Inesons book. :-)
Thanks for welcoming me Jane. I've just bought the fabric for a bargello workshop I'm attending this month so jelly rolls put on hold a bit longer. Still trying to make up my mind which project to try from the Jelly Roll Sampler Quilts book by Pam and Nicky Lintott.
Thank you, Jane.
Thank you for the birthday wishes! I'm excited to have found this forum!
Hi Jane, I am making onme out of the more Layer Cake, Jelly Roll charm quilts by Pam and Nicky Lintott. Twisted braid quilt, but I think the pattern is wrong in a place so had some blocks to remake to get pattern running right and the border triangles are also all having to be cut down abit. Asked for help from my local shop and she did say I was doing it right so lets hope it works out in the end. I hate cutting thats why I am moving onto jelly roll quilts.
Jane,
Found it!

Jane,
I couldn't find the "tube tutorial". Is that on the Home page? I am probably looking right at it! haha!

Hi Jane,
Thanks for the suggestions. I will check those out. I'm excited to be here. Just looking over the photos, I am overwhelmed with the talented folks here and their beautiful work. I hope to learn a lot here and hopefully contribute too.
