South West Quilt Yokels is a group for anyone living in the Westcountry, ie Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire and anywhere that used to be Avon. And Wiltshire! Almost forgot Wiltshire! Now, if you're in Bath, the term yokel might rankle a little, but come on in, you know in your heart that you're one of us. Anyone further away from civilisation than that, kick off your wellies, take the weight off, the kettle is always on...

Come and share your local news, advice and ideas.

It's all spring-like here (near Exeter) today. Crocuses are in bloom, all the birdies are singing and the sun is out. Lovely! What's it like where you are?

Hi Jane
Yes this is country threads, visited today (again) and got some beautiful fabric.
This shop really is worth going to, so anyone inthe south west or fancies a day in bath, be sure to visit country threads

Oh! I know exactly where you mean. My Mum used to live at the top of Westbury Hill, behind the Post Office Tavern, so I used to walk up and down that hill regularly. And now there's a quilt shop there? Hmm. I need to go back to check it out.

Is this the Country Threads in Bath that you mean? It looks wonderful. They have an online shop too.

Hi Jane
It's west bury hill, opposite the car park.
Oh yes try and get a visit to country threads in bath. Especially as they have a sale on, and I go to look and come out with £'s of fat quarters , but it will be worth it.

Westbury-on-Trym!! That's where I used to live, round the corner from the Stoke Lane shops. Ooh - big wave of nostalgia! Where is Poppy Patchwork exactly?

I love Bath. Must find an excuse to go.
