Comment by Kay on October 30, 2011 at 14:38: Thanks Jane. As the odds are against me being one of the finalists, and I prefer to quilt-as-you-go, I think I would need to enter a finished quilt. Hope there is another challenge and I haven't missed out - I love a challenge :-)

No the quilt can be already quilted, according to the rules of the competition, but it really doesn't have to be because part of the prize for the top twelve is to have their quilts professionally long-arm quilted. At least those were the rules for the competition that has just finished.

Hopefully we'll do another one soon. Keep your eye on this site, it will be announced here if we do!

I've read the rules and it says the patchwork top needn't be quilted. Does this mean the top must not be quilted, or will a quilted piece be accepted? Thanks and congratulations to everyone who took part in the last competition.
