Okay, so in the setting directions, I tell you of my goof.  Well, here's the fixed version, and I think it turned out well (forgive the bumps... there is a ruler somewhere underneath).  I ended up cutting four 1" strips from my binding fabric to enlarge the center square to 26 1/2".
