Comment by Jet on April 27, 2012 at 18:24 I am exited. I am waiting for some jelly rolls bought in the UK, should come with the post next week.Today I have already practised on making a potholder (as mentioned earlier in a message from Jane) with some leftover fabrics, just cut my own 2,5" strips and it worked out nice to start with, will try to make some pictures of it. I am glad I found this website, it gives me really a spur to work with my stash and I made the first step now to buy a jelly roll. Keep you posted, have a nice weekend. Jet
Comment by Jet on April 20, 2012 at 19:35 Yes we have, we lived up in the Highlands and Central Scotland. In total some 10 years. Work brought us back in Holland, but work will bring us back to the UK again..... and I am glad we are coming back.

Region 9 of the Quilters Guild are holding a Documentation Day at Swaffham Prior, near Cambridge on 17 March. An opportunity to learn more about old quilts and to have your own antique items assessed. Let me know if you would like more information. Places are limited.
Glad to have another East Anglian!
